1. Slacker Stance + Walking (4:34)

Before you can walk–you must learn to stand, and Slacker Stance is a great place to start. Learn specific cues that will train your body to maintain balance while standing on a slackline. Practice Slacker Stance on both sides of the body and then learn how we put them together to begin walking the slackline.

2. Pointer (4:56)

If you’ve ever wanted to start playing with static poses on the line, or if your new to slacklining, Pointer pose is a great place to start. It’s low to the ground and allows you to balance on the line with something other than your feet. Learn how to safely enter and exit this pose as well as gain technique to keep you on the line.

3. Double Knee (4:49)

This is a great pose to learn for connecting postures together to create transitions and flows. In this tutorial you will learn proper line placement and other techniques that will help you find success and start to settle into Double Knee. We offer progressions that can quickly get you floating on the slackline.

4. Simple Sit, Criss Cross, & Lotus (6:33)

Work your way up to Louts on the line with this comprehensive progression guide, which will teach you several ways to sit on a slackline. Proper line placement, focal point, and foot position are just a few of the techniques we will review in this lesson. We even have a little extra credit for you extreme balance seekers out there. Whether you’re just learning to sit, or you’re already experimenting with Lotus, this tutorial contains detailed information to help you find success with both.

5. Turning Around on the Slackline (6:31)

You’re at the anchor point–but you want to keep walking…it’s time to learn how to turn around. This tutorial contains progressions and techniques to get you comfortable with changing directions on the line. We’ll teach you how to do a slow turn, a quick turn, and even a bounce turn around. We’ll also examine how to align your breath with your moments.
